Bantam girls handle themselves like champions at the national meet in Alabama!!! Whit coach Ben staying home whit a last minute Dentist appointment the Dads had to take his place and so they did!!! They got the girls ready to run and perform!!!! In only his first trip to nationals Kaylee finish (134th) 14:06 Mikaela fighting a cold for the last 2 weeks improved by more than 30 places from last year finishing (51th)13:19 Grace run in the from off the race earning herself a (22nd Place ) 12:42 and a All American award better her performance from last year by 121 places!!!!!!!!!! Great job girls we are all proud of you!!!!!!!!!!!
TO THE PARENTS: 11/23/ 10: Bantam girls stepped down to a 2nd place finish out of first by only 4 points.
Grace (5th), Mikaela (7th), Kaylie (13th), Serena (24th), Brooke (32nd), Kiana (33rd), Pricilla (37th), Cristina (39th).
These girls will have a chance to compete at the National Championship in Hoover Alabama Dec 11, 2010!!!
Midget girl!! Zen finished (33th) ending her season at the regional meet!!! She has been a great surprise to our program!!!
Bantam boys Micah and Michael finish their first cross country season at the regional meet finishing 29th and 39th. We are really proud of what you boys have accomplished this year
11/17/10: With only the 2nd year of Chino Hills Flash competing at the SCA USATF Junior Olympics the kids stepped up to the challenge.
Bantam Girls: Our bantam girls led the way with a second place finish, by scoring 52pts. Grace (3rd), Mikaela (5th), Kaylie (13th), Serena (21st), Brooke (40th), Cristina (43rd), Pricilla (44th), Kiana (46th), Victoria (49th). Brooke, Cristina, Pricilla and Kiana had their first competion and performed at a high level, by only having a ten second gap between all four of them. These girls are a great addition to our team as well as Victoria who this was only her 2nd race improved by more than 30 seconds. I am excited to see what they will do in the future!
Bantam Boys: an amazing performance by our bantam duo: Michael P (12:15) and Micah H (12:32). Finishing 15th and 22nd, both of them qualified for the regional championships and ran their personal best. Lenny and James missed qualifying by a couple places by finshing 27th and 31st respectively.
Midget Girls: Zen H. had a tremendous finish by passing two girls in the last 250 meters and putting herself in 25th place, giving her the last qualifying spot for the regionals. She also, improved her time by more than two minutes. Kaylia missed qualifying by finishing 29th. Camille and Jaylene had good performances finishing 31st and 39th respectively.
Midget boys: Steven K, Boris Z and Brian P finished 34th and 40th and 54th. Brian had the most courageous race; he fell at the starting line. Having injured himself he had the option of not racing yet he decided to continue and ran his best time of the season (13:57)
Youth girls: Sammy S got 41st place
10/31/10: CHINO HILLS FLASH 1ST ANNUAL INVITATIONAL WAS A SUCCESS!!! THANK YOU TOALL PARENTS FOR YOUR PARTICIPATION AND YOUR HELP THIS PAST SUNDAY THE 31ST. I'M REALLY PROUD TO SAY THAT ALL FLASH MEMBERS THAT RAN THE RACE HAD AMAZING TIME IMPROVEMENTS FROM THEIR PREVIOUS RUN AT PRADO PARK. ALSO THANK YOU FOR TAKING CARE OF YOUR KIDS, I KNOW I WASN'T THERE TO WARM THEM UP AND GIVE THEM INSTRUCTIONS; THEY BEHAVED LIKE CHAMPIONS!...(IT MUST BE THE UPBRINGING THAT YOU GUYS HAVE GIVEN THEM)

10/31/10: KALIA HAD HER BEST FINISH IN THE SEASON BY FINISHING 6TH IN THE RACE AND GETTING HER FIRST METAL. JAYLENE & SERENA IMPROVED BY MORE THAN 2 MINUTES FROM PREVIOUS RUN AT PRADO. JACOB M. HAD THE HIGHEST FINISH OF ANY FLASH BOY WITH 5TH PLACE! AND BANTAM BOYS TEAM HAD THE BEST FINISH WITH 2ND PLACE (MICHAEL 12TH, MICAH 13TH, LENNY 14TH, JIMMY 16TH) TREMENDOUS TEAM WORK!!! BANTAM GIRLS STILL UNDEFEATED ( GRACE 2ND, MIKAELA 5TH, KAYLIE 14TH, SERENA 16TH, VICTORIA 33RD)
