Flash shows great strength from summer training at Walnut!


IMG_1851 (2)After coming from a great summer training it was time to test our fitness. Team Flash travel next door to Walnut to race at the annual Creekside Park 2 mile race. Most of our kids run this race last year and we now have a guide where they are in fitness.

2017 Big Bear Training Camp




Set just above 6,000 feet, BigBear is an ideal condition for serious runners.

The higher altitude will help prepare thisseasons athletes to compete with arenewed ability.

Dates:Thursday July 27 to Monday July 31st 1pm

Location: BigBearLake

Cost:$200 includes, accomadations, food, training and lots of fun

Daily activities: Morning snack, run, breakfast, afternoonfun,lunch, evening run,dinner

Menu:(breakfast) pancakes,egg burritos, cereal; (lunch) sandwiches; (dinner)turkeymelts, tacobar, spagetti, bbqchicken; each meal will have fresh fruits and vegetables.

Breaktrough races for Lauren/Baylin and Andrew

Weekend results Lauren Mcbride has a breaktrough race in the 400 running unoffically 63.2 and Sister Kayla Mcbride wins her heat in the 100 with a time of 13.78/

Date: Saturday Night, May 20, 2016

Time: Events begin at 6:30 pm under the lights, gates open at 5:00 pm for registration. ‘

Location: El Toro High School, 25255 Toledo Way, Lake Forest, CA 92630 Brand new Stadium with all weather track.

Parking: Free, large lot next to Stadium off Serrano Street. Street parking available.

Entry Fee: $5.00 per event, $10.00 per relay,

$5.00 for spectator (kids 10 and under are free with parent). CASH ONLY.

Spikes: Please bring only 3/16 Pyramid spikes.

Concession Stand: Full Snack Bar.

Events: We will run the events in this order; event time schedule and number of heats will vary depending on number of entrants. Women’s events will start first followed by men’s events.

Event start time: 6:30 pm in this order

  1. 800 Meter (~14 athletes per heat)
  2. 1600 Meters (~18 athletes per heat)
  3. 400 Meters (9 athletes max per heat)
  4. Distance Medley Relay (12 teams max per heat)
  5. 3200 Meters (~22 athletes per heat)

Results: Fully automated time by AccuTrack Timing Event Notes: Hip numbers will be given at the time of registration. You will be place into heats with athletes of similar level. PLEASE BE HONEST.

Flash Kids run super at Ayala

P1100122P1100139Aarina lead the Flash girls with a Pr of 5:54 following were Keili and Karis both under 6 minutes (5:59.8 &5:59.83), Sierra had a breaktrough race at 6:00.8 and Tori run a super race at 6:03)








In the boys side the Team Flash was lead by the dual Andrew(5:06) and Austin(5:07) following was a much improved Sebastian running a personal best of (5:11). Two of the best performances of the day went to our yongesters Nash nearly won his race coming home in 3rd at (5:53) and the best race of the day went to Dustin W. winning his race in a personal best of (6:03)
